The Icelandic Literary Society , the institution of the society and activities around the first fifty years 1816-1866. 50th anniversary publication with various documents regarding the establishment and work of the company. The book is high quality, bound in a yellow paper ribbon, which is only starting to look old due to age. Size: 27.5 X 22.5 cm, 108 pages. A frame was printed on the pages of the book and also on the volume on both the front and back. The book ends with a poem by Steingrímur Thorsteinsson, entitled: For the memory of the Icelandic Literary Society, in the coexistence of Icelanders 13. April day. 1866.
