Description
Shepherd boy ‘s childhood memories by the publisher Árni Ólafsson. At the top of the title page is Sögusafn heimilanna, which was a book publishing house that Árni originally directed and was known for publishing books about Basil the Prince, which were very popular around 1940. One of the things that was very mysterious for those stories was who was their author and many were nominated such as Kristmann Guðmundsson, Ragnar í Smári and some thought that Árni Ólafsson had written some of them. The author of Basil’s Prince is still unknown, but Æskuminningar smaladrengur is by the book publisher Árni Ólafsson. The book is small, bound in a school band, shirting on the keel and cladding with a printed picture of Árni. Size: 13.8 X 11 cm. 48 p.
