Breiðfirðingur is the oldest regional magazine in Iceland. It was first published in 1942 and its size was then: 14.3 X 22.3 cm. The number of pages has varied, but in recent years close to 200 pages. each issue – The publication was not published: 1976, 1979, 1980, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2010-2014.
Breiðfirðingur was printed in Félagsprentsmiðjan in the first years, but since then it has been printed in Borgarprent for a long time, but the place of printing is often not mentioned. From 1983 it was printed in Prentsm. Edda, but then in Prentsm. Árni Valdemarsson, Gutenberg and Steindórsprent / Gutenberg. After Svavar Gestsson took over the editorial board in 2015, it was printed in Leturprent.
