Jerusalem I. In the Valleys. A novel by Selma Lagerlöf. Björg Þ. Blöndal translated. Her third novel, The Emigrant Story of Jerusalem (1-2), was published in 1901-1902 and was immediately very popular. She wrote it after her trip to the Middle East with her friend. – This is probably the second volume of the story, but it can be seen in the arcade numbers and the table of contents if it is compared to the title page. Selma Lagerlöf was the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize. The book is 18.5 X 12.5 cm. to size and 308 pages. handcuffed in rexin on keel and corner and gold on keel.
