Description
Norðri , a half-monthly newspaper for Icelanders. The magazine was a magazine, size: 25 X 18.2 cm, published in Akureyri. The editors were Björn Jónsson and Jón Jónsson, but the owner and responsible person was Sveinn Skúlason. Norðri was the first newspaper to appear in Norðurland after the printing monopoly was broken. The newspaper’s topics were mainly domestic and foreign news.

Publisher: Sveinn Skúlason Akureyri 1853-1861. Prentsmiðjan á Akureyri or Norðraprentsmiðjan, but was also called Prentsmiðja Norður- og Austurumdæmisins.
