Description
Ungherjinn was published for 5 years, from 1933-1937. Usually no editors or guarantors are specified, except in the 1st issue. 1934 and 2.tbl, 1936, that then Petrína K. Jakobsson ábm. It is mostly children and teenagers who write in the magazine. However, there are some poets and writers who contribute material: for example Jóhannes úr Kötlum, Ólafur Jóh. Sigurðsson and Ragnar Jóhannesson. The sheets are folded but not wire stapled except those printed in Félagsprentsmiðjan. The magazine’s content is varied, but mainly deals with the interests of children and then mainly working children or poor children. The paper is bad in the papers that are copied, but good in the printed ones. The leaves are very different in size or from 24 X 17.5 cm up to 34 X 22.5 cm. The larger sheets are copied.
