He was born in Einarsnes in Borgarhreppur in 1824, but was in many parts of Borgarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and also lived in H\u00f6r\u00f0ub\u00f3l in Mi\u00f0d\u00e4lar 1875-1880. He died in 1902. He was a great believer, a good poet and a good carpenter: He built 7 churches, 302 coffins, 80 towns and 14 watermills. &#8211; The book is bound in a binding, thin cards and strong all-coated brown paper and gold on the front. The band is well bound, slim and strong and has lasted well for almost 100 years.
